John Franklin

Like many people I took up running to lose weight. Little did I know that over the next decade these tentative (and painful) first steps would lead me to national level rowing, the Ironman World Championships and 37th at the London marathon. Although I work as a teacher in London I’ll be supporting Front Runner in every way I can, leading sessions during the school holidays and representing the shop in the South East.

Running Goals 2014:

  1. 68 minutes half marathon
  2. 2:25 marathon
  3. Break 15 minutes for 5k
