The route.

We're excited about this one, it's got a bit of everything. First off we'll head over Froggatt Edge, dropping down to Froggatt Village, following the Derwent up to Grindleford then forking off up Padley Gorge to the sounds of the in-situ ice cream van. Over to Longshaw Estate and through the woods back to a refreshing drink! It's not flat, has some technical terrain (if it has been very wet then some of this run could become a lot more difficult). If you're unsure as to how you'll find the terrain please feel free to call or email Steve (01142669591 or info@frontrunnersheffield.co.uk).

How long.

The run is around 10km and we're aiming to run for around 1h15minutes.

What to wear and bring.

*Please please bring a head torch still* it won't be dark when we set off but may be dark before we return

It is vital that you have full body cover with you (Hat/gloves/waterproof top/full length legwear), a good head torch which you'd be able to run with alone, not relying on others light and suitable footwear, a trail or fell shoe would be appropriate for this run.

Post run.

Potentially a drink in the Grouse Inn Pub.
