The most important thing this week is that this is a Head torch Run - Please, please, please bring a head torch which has a good enough beam to enable you to run without the light of others. Also, full body cover is essential - Hat, gloves and long sleeve jacket.

The route.

We'll be taking in the delights of White Edge, Birchen Edge, a smidge of Chatsworth and Baslow Edge. There is one notable climb on this route which is back up to Baslow Edge from Baslow. It's nearing the end of the run so can be tough. The good news is once you're at the top you've only another 5 minutes! The route is mostly on good trails but after heavy rain certain sections can become muddy so appropriate footwear is important.

The run will be around 9km in length and take ~1 hour.

If you're unsure as to how you'll find the terrain please feel free to call or email us on (01142669591 or info@frontrunnersheffield.co.uk).

What to wear and bring.

You will need you own personal head torch, hat, gloves and waterproof jacket. We expect everyone who attends the have the experience and equipment to be self sufficient on the hills and not be dependent on any other member of the group out running.

Please bring appropriate clothing. If the forecast is bad then come prepared (Hats / gloves / jackets / spare clothes / head torch) and if the weather is blisteringly hot... also come prepared (Sun hat / sun cream / water).

Post run.

Some tipple in the Fox House... Hot Chocolate!
