Matt Rimmer

I started running in 2011 doing a 10k with friends in 1 hour 20 mins. From there I entered the 2012 Sheffield half marathon, completing it in 1:48:48. 

Since then I have supported others with their running by helping to lead courses in Couch to 5k, 5k to 10k and I lead regular club runs for the Steel City Striders running club. I am also a regular pacer for the Sheffield half marathon and Sheffield 10k events. 


I have taken part, and still take part, in events from 5k to 50 miles on road, trail, fell and cross country. This has led to PBs of

I am also a qualified running coach. This has helped me understand my running better so I can get the most out of my training, and also lets me help others towards their goals which I find very rewarding.
